The lighthouse can be climbed in the summer months. From about 30 meters you can look out over the sea with in the south The Hague and Scheveningen (20 km) and in clear weather in the background the Europoort; in the east Leiden (10 km) and in the north Noordwijk, Zandvoort and in good weather IJmuiden and the Hoogovens (35 km). Of course, the new coastal list of Katwijk is clearly visible.

Entrance fee

A visit to the tower costs € 1 per person.

Opening hours

The lighthouse is open from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 17.00 from the end of June to the end of August from Monday to Saturday. Out of season you can visit the lighthouse by appointment. Please contact the Katwijks Museum (071) 401 30 47 for this.
